Risk Tolerance & Volatility
Long positive runs in the stock market lead investors to a false sense of security. This usually has them adjust their risk tolerance higher than what they are truly comfortable with, only to see a correction or recession eliminate gains and leave them with losses. This video is a good reminder for us to look at our portfolios again and make sure we haven’t taken an approach that is too aggressive for our true needs and emotions.
